Greg developed this process initially for himself and to later share with his
clients and others that have been challenged in achieving their set goals.
In 1990 Greg Herzog, a former sub four minute miler and conditioning coach,
suddenly found himself overweight, with gastric problems, as an result of taking
aspirin for inflammation in his knees. The system of running and no diet that
once worked for him as an athlete, no longer served him. He was stuck. As a
professional in the health and fitness field he had physical and nutritional
issues that he could not solve.
Not knowing where to turn, he asked his physical therapist friend Michael if he
would work with him to help rehabilitate his knees. Michael said he needed to
go for a consultation at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City in order
to work with him. Greg was diagnosed with having no cartilage in either knee
and with his x-rays up on the screen; the doctor looked at him and said that he
would never believe these x-rays were his, if he was not sitting there. The doctor
went as far as to say that he wanted to use Greg for research because he
thought it was a miracle that he could even walk.
Herzog eventually had to stop running completely. Greg read every self-help
book he could get his hands on and tried to change and model from others.
When that didn’t work he realized that the only way to succeed was to find his
own process for learning and performance.
Mr. Herzog found that the best way for him to bridge the gap to performance was
through conditioning and to rewire through an algorithm based on physics that
he developed. This lead to the development of a psychological structure, or
vehicle for arranging information, in relation to a question, so that the answer or
course of action is made clear, to help create a personal map, to bridge the gap
from intention to achievement. Greg is very excited about the AXIS CORE™
coaching system.
He truly believes that this modality enhancement conditioning system will be the
“Personal Trainer of the Future”, not limited to diet and exercise, but a tool for
learning, performance and psychology, as well for Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia.
The AXIS CORE™ comprehensive
conditioning coaching system is a
specifically designed system for individuals
in the field of self improvement: including
finance, career, relationship, diet, fitness,
exercise, learning and golf, to find a process
for learning, by utilizing a modality

modification.
