Fitness Makeover
Greg Herzog of Herzog Body Tech
located at 383 Main St has
designed a Fitness Makeover
program for individuals that want
to lose weight and get in shape
fast.
This program combines the power
of weight training with
cardiovascular work to maximize
weight loss and muscle tone. The
sessions are intense specifically
designed for maximum fat loss and
muscle toning in a minimal amount
of time.
Greg, a pioneer in the fitness
business has found that giving
people a focused period of 2-12
weeks where they can increase
their strength, tone and flexibility
up to 70% and lose weight really
gives people incentive to continue
to exercise and follow his core
eating program for life.
The Program includes: Physical
Profile, Goal Setting, Customized
Exercise Program, Customized
Nutrition Plan, Testing and
Analysis.

Imagine an
exercise program
you actually look
forward to, that
engages you and
leaves you
refreshed and
alert with a
The effectiveness of this training
technique is supported by large
research studies.
One recent research study at
Colorado State University
examined the effect of resistance
training on post energy
expenditure and resting metabolic
rate and concluded that with
proper form, working the negative
(extension) and positive
(contraction) muscles equally can
elevate metabolic rate for
extended periods, due to oxidation
of body fat.
Rather than pursuing the
unrealistic goal of having an ideal
of a perfect body, Greg helps you
in developing a healthy self-
image, through visualization,
proper coordination and strength
with improved flexibility. This type
of conditioning is for people of all
ages and physical conditions
providing a refreshing and
energizing workout. It is the safest
most beneficial way of training.
Regardless of your current level of
fitness -from sedentary office
worker to fitness enthusiast- the
HBT method can be your primary
mode of body conditioning and
injury prevention. It can also be
safely used by pregnant women to
learn how to breathe properly and
gain strength and tone before,
during and after pregnancy.
Because conditioning sessions
are done one-on-one basis, it is
realistically something that people
will do, that has been proven to be
a better way to return results
which gives you the highest rate of
return. Each session is tailored to
your specific needs therefore you
will experience substantial
progress in overall strength and
mobility.
Some of the benefits:
▪ You will receive a tremendous
increase in fitness in the shortest
period of time.
▪ It is the most efficient training
system today.
▪ Maximum workout, minimum time.
▪ Used and endorsed by athletes.
▪ Anaerobic and Aerobic full body
conditioning workout that raises
metabolism and
thermogenises.
It is comforting to know, that the
work you are doing, will result in a
faster burning metabolism that
continues to burn calories after
the workout so that weight loss
just simply happens through
thermogenisis.

This resistance exercise method is
unlike so many fitness programs
popularized over the last few
decades. Unlike other exercise
programs, HBT does not require
mindless repetitions of boring
exercises that most people tire of
quickly and subsequently
abandon. The method consists of
a sequence of carefully performed
movements; some carried out on
specially designed equipment.
Each exercise is designed to
stretch and strengthen the
muscles involved, opening the
joints and releasing tension.
There is a specific breathing
pattern for each exercise to assist
in directing energy to those areas
while relaxing the rest of the body.
Most people place emphasis on
momentum instead of muscle
maximization and control.
With HBT’s proper prescription
and introduction of weights, you
are able to achieve maximum
return in one sitting. This system
elongates and strengthens
muscles by using a series of
controlled movements. These
movements are specifically
designed for developing muscle
elasticity and joint mobility,
balanced with strength and
flexibility so that you are less likely
to be injured, without building bulk.
The technical aspect of the
method concentrates on alignment
by lengthening all of the muscles
of the body into a balanced whole,
while building endurance and
strength, so they work together as
a system.
This technique for stretching,
strengthening, as well as the
process for exercise and
conditioning, is designed to work
the body in smooth, fluid and
continuous movements, providing
a longer period of tension during
the concentric (contraction) phase
of the movement as well as the
eccentric (extension) part of the
movement, where your entire
musculature is evenly balanced
and conditioned. Instead of
performing many repetitions of
each exercise, with HBT, fewer
sets are preferred with a more
precise movement. The slower the
lifting movement, requiring proper
control, form and breathing, the
less momentum is developed and
therefore more muscle fibers are
being properly utilized, thus
experiencing a new awareness of
muscle function and control to
provide a safe and effective
conditioning. With this technique
the quality of the movement is
valued over the quantity of sets or
repetitions. Correct breathing
helps you execute movements with
maximum power and efficiency
and also reduces stress on the
nervous system.
feeling of physical and mental well-
being.
The HBT body conditioning
method does all that and more.
With all the hype surrounding the
fitness industry today it can be
confusing how to locate a
reputable source to work with.
Many people have jumped on to
the fitness bandwagon, with
various degrees of training,
ranging from one weekend to just
a few months.
With HBT you know that you are
getting over twenty years of
research and hands on
experience working with
individuals from ages five to ninety.
Greg Herzog, a former world class
athlete, Olympic coach and a
pioneer in the business with over
20 years of experience has found
that by competing and training
with some of the world finest
athletes and coaches that
everyone’s physical capacity is not
only different but entirely
dependent on the coaching
techniques prescribed for them.
The most effective coach
inevitably understands the mental
and physical makeup of his
protégé. He doesn’t promise
immediate results but rather eases
the individual into a program that
at once feels comfortable. He
works in a triple capacity as a
coach, doctor and physical
therapist in developing a
relationship that ultimately
achieves the mutual goals of
mental and physical satisfaction.
At Herzog Body Tech each client
is addressed in an individual way
and his ability to understand your
needs is possibly the single most
important factor in his philosophy.
He believes in a basic structure
that is continuously updated
improved upon that fully exercise
the body. You won’t find a better
program where you are stretched
strengthened and relaxed that
gives you a higher rate of return.
The HBT program is founded
upon principle that gave rise to his
name. This program works by
building strength, rebalancing the
body, improving flexibility,
coordination and tone through
physical and mental conditioning.
These principles make people
more aware of their bodies and
increase efficiency of movement.
